Well I got out of work last night and got to bed around 1:30AM up at 5:15 AM.Got to my spot checked the wind.Set up in the stand I THOUGHT was best for wind direction (wind in my face). Sat for 3 hours and saw nothing. I got down and went to check the scraps by my other stands which were all freshened.I had to be to work by 10AM so I started to head to my truck when I found a NEW rub line .I think to myself man these were just made.I walk a couple more yards and look at a couple more. Now I'm about 75 yards away from one of my stands. I look about 20 yards up the trail and notice a tree shaking violently then stop then I see antlers sticking up over the brush. We looked at each other and he put his head down.Thats when I squatted down and watched. It was like he thought he was seeing things and had to come look to see what I was(his mistake). He stepped out at 20 yards and I was already at full draw.He looked at me and snorted as I releast. I see the arrow in his side as he ran out of sight.Went in a little back but the angle I hit him the arrow punched out through his brisket.Wasn't even 30 seconds and I heard a loud crash.I still waited 15 minutes before I started tracking. It was 10 yards before I found any blood but when I found the first squirt it was pink not red with LOTS of bubbles. He ran about 45yards and slammed into a tree and thats how I found him by the BIG splatter of blood on the tree. He's a nice 2 1/2 year old 8 point.Pictures still to come..... This whole thing made for a VERY long day at work. PS. I was only 20 minutes late ::)the second time I got there the first time was to brag and show him off ;D

Nice going getting the Buck . Sounds like you had one fine day . I might not get back out during bow season . Sore throat , runny nose , congestion , headache , etc ...... I feel like death warmed over !

Sweet Freak!!! He has some mass compared to the little guys I have seen down here. One question though, doesn't sitting on that little house give you a wedgie? You could've poked him in the eye from that distance. LMAO just kidding.
