Good articles-I have two that state the rut will happen this weekend and your articles state it will be a bit later after Nov 13th which is the next full moon. Let's see what happens this weekend with all the reports that should come in. We can compare this weekend to the weekend of opening day of gun. ( that may be a tall order because half of the bucks are taken out the first day)

Saw a young buck dogging a doe tonight and running her hard- 1st sign I have seen thus far. Things are getting interesting thats for sure.

i have seen plenty of doe but none being chased by a buck, hopefully i get that trophy buck chasing doe real soon. does anyone here hunt orange/ sulivan county? if so how you been doing out there?

i hunt that area but unfortunately havent been out since opening day,got a doe.i going to do a 1/2 day today

good luck hopefully you get a nice big 8. let us know how you do. i iwish i could be out there, but i wont be able to go till this weekend. cant wait. hopefully there right about the rut starting the 13th and we get good action this weekend.
