anybody else seeing new sign.went out sunday and new rubs were popping up where they weren't last tuesday.some were prety big.didnt see any scrapes in the snow ;D or any tracks or deer for that matter.

Joel, My brother in law was at my place last weekend and said he is seeing new rubs all around our fields. Some of the rubs are big, I am going up the last weekend he will be muzzle loading I will have my bow. I just hope we don't have too much snow. Yes there is new sign showing up around the field edges.

My son was down in Mendon today . He had his 308 pistol with him . He said he kicked out a few deer and saw some scrapes and that some of them were fresh .

Not sure if they were super fresh but I saw some big rubs myself on Sunday. I've read a few books and articles and they say to hunt the sign this late in the season so you know where I'll be tomorrow with all the gear- rattling bag, grunt tube, and my doe pee of choice. Go get em you guys!!!

The fat lady has sung for me this year. I'm all done with vacation and have to work the rest of the season. Next year I'll be sure to buy a BP gun so I can have an extra week if needed!!  |

Maytom - If you are serious about buying a BP , start checking WalMart for BP accessories as they are starting to put that stuff on clearance now . Just a thought ......

I second that Fasteddie - Just bought 12 Powerbelt 295grain .50cal. slugs for $9.00 on clearance.Not the best deal but I'll take it. Plus all their cleaning supplies and breech plug lubes are on clearance as well along with all their archery stuff, scents, and calls. They had the BuckRoar going for $11 and the BuckGrowl going for I think $9 or $11. Wasn't sure if that was a deal and I passed. My trusty HS calls work fine. Broadheads- 3 pack for $12. Limbsaver stabilizers for $9, String leeches for $3. The list goes on. Get to Wally world.

I am lucky I can tell if they are deer tracks. Been snowing for 4 days straight. Over 20 inches now!! No scrapes here!!
