Somebody at the DEC leaked hunting season information to the entire NYS deer herd!!!!
Yesterday, I departed my house at 4:30pm to head to the Geneseo Walmart. In that 6 miles., I saw no less than 50 deer!!! They were in big groups. One field had 24 deer feeding without a care in the world . They were mostly does but there were a couple small bucks in the group. The local traffic controller reported 4 deer struck accidents this morning . I have not heard these reports since the rut in early November.
These deer sightings were less than 9 minutes before legal shooting time ended!!! Please e-mail complaints to the DEC and tell them to keep the hunting season information under tighter wraps next year!!!! LOL
