Here is my camp,, Off season looks like this ::During the hunting season it looks like this:;
The tent has 2 sections with a wooden floor up off the ground.. Living section is 12 foot x 16 foot Outfitter's tent.. Cooking section is 12 foot x 8 foot ..... The tent holds 4 hunters and has a cooking and washing station in the clear section.. 2 Bunk beds are build into the framing. Table is fold-up that is attach to the framing. We have a generator for electric and a wood burning stove for heat.. Beginning of every season we go up and slide the floor-less tent over the framing like a condom, slash down the tarp on top and closed in the kitchen area with clear plastic. We have a stack of cut wood, that is cut during our summer trips and we have a clothes line to wash and dry if needed.. At the end of the season it's all pulled off and only the frame stands till the next year..

Ok you wanted them so here they are - Home away from Home!! Front view - We don't use this door but the porcupines tried to chew their way through Side View and the main entrance we all use Main area - Poker table goes in front of wood pile and stove. My bunk and some others. The other half and part of the kitchen The addition on the front of the cabin - Don't mind the graffiti - Kids broke in and plastered the place a few years back The other part of the kitchen And last but not least the best room and the worst room in the house!!!

My camp is in North Wilmurt (South of Old Forge) off of Route 28. It sits on 12 acres of land I own and is bordered on 3 sides by Adirondack State Forest land. It is 68 miles out my back door to the next paved road in Blue Mountain where Route 28 and 8 come together.

Thanks! It's coming along-don't want to rush to much. Last year at muzzleloding the temp was real cold the place never got above 50 inside! we are going to install a nice propane stove this summer that should heat the place real nice. Turkey season right around the corner-can't wait! Burt

This is the camp on Norton Hollow Road right out of Greenwood, NY that I Turkey hunted out of for over 15 years with buddies. The 3rd one on the right is yours truly except you can add about 40 lbs to my weight and about 18 years to my age. Some good times have been had in this cabin.
