I'll start shooting the bow pretty regular now that August is almost here. Like to get in two+ solid months of "tune up" before the season rolls around. How about you guys, getting pumped for the up-comming season?

For sure...I almost made it to the archery shop today...Too bad I was forced to go in to work instead for OT...Oh well, I will start shooting regularly soon as well...I need to get these muscles all tuned up for the season...

Good thing there is an early goose season. Got my blinds and some new decoys , so put them together , Now i gotta figure a way to carry it all.

I hunt geese in the Groveland / Lakeville area on the hills around my house. The farmers hate them almost as much as deer .
Found a bunch for the opener . the things are all over the place.

I was at a couple of my spots recently. Found a good spot for a stand out in Herkimer Co., and I got to watch a big doe and her twins on sunday. This morning I moved a stand I have in some woods a couple miles from home this morning. Jumped a forkhorn about 100 yards from new stand placement. Ahhhhh, Its gonna be a good time in the woods!

Deer season is here! I went out opening day, but got rained out. This afternoon was much nicer, cooler and drier. At about 5:30 I watched a doe and a fawn come in. I watched the doe eat apples for about 30 minutes before they went back into the woods. It was nice to watch, I'm not stressin.
