I put up a Ladderstand in the back yard yesterday but it was too hot to practice . Had to trim some branches off some trees but no damage to the trees . I'll go out after supper and do some shooting .

Been practicing 4 - 20 shots per day for the past three weeks. Have yet to shoot elevated, but the climber will accomplish that shortly. It does feel stange shooting in this heat.

I was okay at 30 yards so I setup my McKenzie target at 20 yards and quit after 18 shots . Very difficult to pull the arrows out .

It's rough pulling those arrows out of the foam deer targets isn't it...I had stuck some carbons into my friends deer target so good that I had to improvise...I knocked the deer off of it's pegs and rolled it onto its side...I then placed a foot on its side and proceeded to pull with some cosoderable force...The arrows finally popped out after much cussing and twisting...I think it would be better if I put something on the arrow to lube it up...I just don't know what to use. Any ideas?

I shot my bow tonight finally 20 shots. I was happy to see the pins were still in the same place a slast season. I will go to my buddies over the weekend after my hunting class and shoot some from the stand.

Try using auto polish on your arrows... That seems to help a little, but it still takes quite a bit of effort to get them out of some targets... I use a puller, and even with it, I still have to strain!
