Yes I keep a muffler in there, brand new actually because manifold pipes are so badly damaged they can not be fixed so my excuse when caught for loud vehicle is simple, the brand new one is in the back....it works.
And yes it has been traditional for every truck that i have owned to not see the actual bed of the truck ;D

Nice work Zemmer. Based on that doe's back end, I am glad that you are not a proctologist! ;D

HC - I tried to get my money back for the rust proof liner but they just gave me the bungee cords to hold the sidewalls together when the bed finally rusts all the way through. I hope they work - Wish me luck
BigD - You don't like my surgical work? Guess a Mini-Maglite and a dull knife at 9:30pm isn't the best way to go about carving her up, but it's meat in someones freezer.
BTW I did donate this deer to the Hunters for the Hungry. All deer must be field dressed and legally tagged and then taken to an approved location for processing. I was told that they then ship the meat to Utica and it is distributed to food banks across the state. For more info, check the nysdec website.

That is great that you donate the meat. If the season goes as planned (like that ever happens), I plan to do the same. Typically, the first one goes in my freezer and my old roomy gets the second donated to his household.
I was just poking a little fun regarding the does' backside. Field dressing in the dark is a major pain. The first deer that I took was field dressed by the light of a flashlight and it was not pretty. I have actually dragged two out in the late evening and field dressed them in my garage. That really thrilled my wife, but the light made it much easier.
