I got one in that wind yesterday. Story/pic is in the journal section. Just wanted to let you guys know he was chasing a doe hard. First time I ever shot one chasing a doe in October!! Might be worth it to get out no matter what mother throws at us! Good luck all.

Congrats fletch. Not to rub it in to anyone but just shot and recovered #3. Shot another doe this am at 7:10. All 3 deer have come from the same stand. I knew that spot would be good but not this good. Just my year I guess.

Did I mention I hate work? Well congrats to both of you. If I wasn't working, I'd be out hunting.

Sheesh Fred - You're a regular deer killing machine ! ;D Congrats on #3 . Yesterday I tried one of those Renzo feeding doe 2 dimensional decoys . I had 4 doe taking turns coming in doing the head bob and checking it out for almost an hour . They were still there at dark when I got down . The only buck I saw was the tail end of one that I spooked when I stepped into the laneway . I was going to head to Walworth this am but had a splitting headache when I got up at 4 am so I went back to bed . Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day so i'll stack some firewood . I plan on being here when the Rug Rat Trick or Treaters show up . We get over 100 kids showing up .........
