I shoot an 11 yard distance in the basement during the winter . I have a Bag Target with some rug behind it . I was drawing back and prematurely released the arrow . Missed the bag , went through the carpets and wiped out the carbon arrow when it hit the cement block wall . Took a chip out of the cement block . Another time I was making a video on homemade lighted nocks . It was dark in the basement so I placed one of those crankup flashlights on top of the target so I could tell where it was ........... I found the flashlight . I didn't want to hit the light but subconconsiously must have zero'd in on it and smashed it with my lighted nocked arrow . I have heard stories about archers shooting doors in the house , hitting the neighbor's house , etc .... What have you done ?

"Your going to shoot your eye out"..... ;D ;D
Was shooting from the driveway into bales in the garage. Instead of pressing the trigger, I had a brain fart and let go of the release...The arrow skidded on the garage floor and the pieces of the release went about twice as far as the arrow, Never did find all the pieces.
A friend of mine had a neighbor that put one thru another neighbor's above ground pool!! $$$$$$$$$
I shot into an outdoor foam target at my old gun club. Found blood on the arrow and thought I cut myself. Come to find out, a family of mice had moved into the center of the foam where it was all cut up from the broadheads. Talk about some un lucky mice!!

#1 Nothing major...Just shot my shed with my old bow and an aluminum arrow with a 125 grain field tip...Missed the target by an inch and impacted the bottom part of the shed. Luckily it was an Amish built shed and tough as nails...Just stuck in to the wood on the outside and never penetrated. I patched it up and it is now good as new.
#2 Was shooting in to my garage where I hung a large bag target. I only aimed at the middle of the target believing that I couldn't miss...Well, I had an old cabinet with drawers in it against the back of my garage...I store various outdoor items in it...Well, I missed the bag target and stuck a carbon arrow in to one of the drawers. I had to pull the drawer out and take it down in to the basement. It took some time and effort to extract the arrow but I did it w/o damaging the arrow. Still use it to this day...The drawer still has a hole in the front of it...Never patched that hole.

Just saw this post but had to share a quick story.
Got my bow restrung 2 weeks ago and was out retuning it on a Wednesday. I shot at 10, 15, and 20 yds and had my 1 pin dead on at 15. I shot 4 arrows at each distance at least twice and I beleieve at 15 I shot 2 more sets making it 32 arrows to retune. I was feeling good and confident. My neighbor and I decided this year that during practice rounds we would shoot out to 40yds if we felt like it. We had shot this distance aprrox 3 times thus far and I was doing very well at that distance. So I moved the target and got ready. 1st arrow hit about 5 inches high. I didn't adjust my pin for this distance yet so I said let me try another. 2nd arrow hit about 3 inches low. I figured it was just me on both so I said, one more arrow and then I'll adjust. Well the 3rd arrow released and I watched it sail right over the target and heard a clank. I set the bow down and went to see what happened. I get down there and my shed sits about 5 yards beyond the target. Yup, you guessed it, right through the T111 siding. I went inside only to find two stacked pieces of vinyl siding from my house had exploded as well and there was blue paint chips on the floor. Upon firther inspection, my field tip had "clanked" into my hand ice auger and made a little dent and releasing some blue paint chips.
I have to say that I am impressed with the penetration I got with a field point. My arrow was inside the shed at least 10 inches and I use a 27 to 27.5 inch arrow without tip or broadhead. 45 yards away and that much penetration surprised me to say the least.
Hole is patched, vinyl siding thrown out, and chipped paint touched up. Ego still bruised however and my neighbor and hunting buddy still doesnt know and probably won't until after the season.

My uncle somehow shot my grandfathers closet door. When he went to patch it he painted it so my grandfather wouldn't notice. What he forgot to factor in was that he was color blind and the paint had a blueish hue instead of white! Needless to say he was busted.
