Ok get out your Cabela's Master Catalog. Page 251 the Rocky Charger warm gear boots. I have always had cold feet issues when hunting on stand and I like to sit for long periods of time. I have tried all kinds of boots and socks and have found no true performer. These battery powered heated boots look awesome. Anybody know anyone who has tried these? Any input would be appreciated.

I'm a huge LaCrosse boot fan. I have two pair of their Burley knee high rubber boots now, and plan to buy a pair of their "ICEman" pak boots as well. For extreme cold temps, you can't beat a pak boot. I picked up a pair of Rocky snowstalkers with 1,200 grams of thinsulate insulation tow years ago, but my feet still get cold in these boots!!!!! My old pair of Boundary pak boots still work well, better than the Rockys, but I do have my eye on the LaCrosse Iceman pak boots!!!

I agree that pack style are the warmest but they just feel like I am walking with a big cinder block on my foot. I find them hard to stalk in.

I have a pair of the big LaCrosse Pac Boots. They are difficult to lace tight and I feel like I am doing a Herman Munster inpersonation when I walk in the darned things !

I agree, pak boots aren't great to walk long distances in, but they are the warmest darn boots to wear for "long hours on stand", in very cold weather. For a pure walking boot, the rubber knee high boots are great!! They are even insulated now with 1,200 grams of Thinsulate insulation.

I don't know about the new boots by Rocky however; I own an old pair and that is all I ware hunting in the stand or out in the snow or wet or dry.

My Rockies have 1600 grams of Thinsulate, but they aren't much to walk in either.... I can sit all day with them though!
