Bought a Remington 700 BDL in 30-06 with a leupold 3-9X40 Rifleman scope  It shoots like a dream. I loaded up some .220 GR hornady RN A pretty good kick with them! |

That is correct and with the 220GR round nose hornadys the deer will think so too. ;D

We put Remingtons in the garden muzzle side down and use them to support the "mater" plants ! ;D ;D

I had forgotten about this post, so you don't like Remingtons almost sounds like a hunting or target shooting challenge?

My son has a remington 700 BDL. I bought it for him for his 18th birthday. I also bought him a 3 - 9 X 40 Nikon scope and all the accessories. The whole package costed me 1,000.00. He is 24 now. He's killed allot of deer with it. I sighted it in the other day and at 100 yds I hit 2 bullets in one hole pretty much. It looked like a minature binocular hole. LOL!!!!
Sweet weapon. I personally hunt with a Ruger 300 winmag. I love huge toys. I usually gut whatever I shoot. I believe in taking out as many of the steps as possible to getting the venison on the table. Last three deer I shot I literally gutted them in some fashion. A chunka suntin here or a chunka suntin there. Actually I'm complaining! I miss my Ruger .270 so much. It just plain killed'em......

Well now that I am back in here I 3 more rifles to add to the list, 1 Savage 111 in .270 win new in the box, 1 Charles Daly in .243 and a CAV side lock cap and ball in .50 cal. That brings me up to 8 rifles.

I may get up to the range this week with it fasteddie but I wanted to wait for the scope and mounts, it has iron sights so maybe try that first.
