I do not know if anyone else has tried this, but I bought one for this year. So far I love it. The price tag is a bit steep, but the performance is great. Once adjusted properly it goes on and comes off in 10-15 seconds. That is way better than my old harness. Additionally, it is much more comfortable. The four pockets on the vest help. I use the two upper velcro pockets for the safety strap and deer drag. The larger lower pockets stow additional gear that I want quick access to: grunt call, gloves, facemask, etc.
The newer Pro Series is mesh, but I chose the Realtree Reversible Blaze Orange model for two reasons. Typically it is not too hot when I hunt (except during the early season) and I like having the blaze orange for firearms season.
The deer drag was really easy to use and the vest displaced the weight of the deer last weekend. I also purchased the hands free lineman’s belt (LCB) for hanging stands. My sister and I moved one of my stands on Sunday. The LCB definitely helped. I was able to work hands free 20’ up. Of course that allowed little sis to goof off in the woods, make a bunch of noise, and run off every deer within a mile. But at least I felt safe.
