I picked this tip up from Dave Henderson's column on the Star Gazette web site...
Tip of the week When removing or installing a rubber recoil pad on a rifle or shotgun, always lubricate the screwdriver blade before pushing it through the pad. Use dishwashing detergent as lubrication rather than an oil, which can stain the rubber.
I never tought of this. It makes sense though...

Makes good sense. Nothing worse than stained rubbers !

Shotgun Tip #3 - Not everyone needs a rifle to shoot a deer . Some of us can get within 100 yards of them ...........
