All I can say is that...I want one. Plain and simple...I know that I don't need one but I want one. There's no rhyme or reason to my lust for this revolver but I gotta have one. Check out this article in Guns & Ammo Magazine: www.gunsandammomag.com/ga_handguns/sw460_072905I handled one of these revolvers at the Buffalo Gun Center and it balanced remarkably well for a 73 ounce gun that stretches 15" from grip to compensator...Did I happen to mention that I want one? It would make a great big brother for my Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter. Unfortunately the gun comes in at about $955 before tax is added on...I just can't justify this type of expense right now. This might just go beyond the threshold of asking for forgiveness instead of asking permission.

or....You could look into a Magnum Research BFR in 460 S&W with a 7.5" barrel...It's about $100-$150 cheaper, lighter and it comes with a scope rail. and they also offer a 10" barrelled model too...

Yup..They do look cool and that 460 really zings them along. I read about the SST's in a sabot slug configuration. I wonder how much they are going to soak the consumer for those speedy little devils? Supposedly they will travel over 2000 fps...At least that is what is being advertised...You can take that as you will.
