I've been checking out the sales at D*I*C*K'S Sporting Goods and they have had a no frill ladder stand on sale for $59 for the last three or four weeks...It is made by Comfort Zone and it comes with a seat pad and that is about it...For the money I think it is a bargain...Plus I have a $10 off coupon when you spend $50 or more so I can get that ladder for $49...I might just jump on it before heading down to the Souther Tier in two weeks...

I have two of them and have never set up either one. I plan to put one up in the back yard this week to practice shooting the bow from . D*I*C*K*s has these on sale so often , it might as well be their standard price. They just opened a store in Webster recently .

I like the stand they offer for 199.00. I don't remember the name of it but it's well built ladder stand and it's 15ft tall. Awesome buy and quality product. I saw the raw material in the store display. I am 300+ lbs and I use a ladder stand with a capacity of 300lbs but it's not as rugged built as that 199.00 stand. I'll gewt you the name in a few days.

fasteddy or anyone that has this stand,
Did you guy's setup one of these stands yet?? I was thinking about buying one for gun season. Just talked to the landowner that hunts below us in Naples and he is gonna have 4-6 guy's in there on the opener. I have a 5 acre stand of thick pines that has wide open fields on all sides. 2 hedge row's end at the pines. one runs north and south and the other east and west . Both connect to woods that get will get pressured by these guy's. I want to put a stand at the junction of the headge rows and the pines. the only trees are pines so it will have to be a ladder.
Is this comfort zone stand sturdy or should I build it out of pressure treated. I figure it will cost about the same but I am pressured for time.

Bruce - I put one up in the back yard a couple months ago to practice but only used two of the sections (10 feet ). It was reasonably comfortable . More so than a chain-on . I also used rachet straps rather than what came with it . Hope this helps ..............

Thanks Ed....I stopped at thingy's on the way home and looked them over they looked like they will work so I bought 3 of them.....I got the most perfect spots for them. This will make it much better for gun season in case I got to get up and down . The climber is nice but carrying it and getting up and down repeatedely is a pain. I guess I am getting old .....In fact i know I am, I Also bought one of them umbrella thingy's to keep my fat butt dry...
Thanks for the reply

Bruce - You should purchase one of those Dining Books that the Schools and Churchs sell . They have 3 coupons in there for "Thingys" for 10 - 15 & 20 dollars off different amounts of purchases . Between using the coupon and using the Thingy Club card , I can afford to spend more .
