D*I*C*K*S sporting goods has the 15' ladder stands on sale again this week for $50 . They are worth the money ! I put two of them up in South Bristol and have another one to install .

I just put up a similar stand that I purchased at Gander Mtn...I might go to D_I_C_K_S and purchase one of those as well...$49.99...You can't go wrong.

what is the weight rating on these stands? If it is high enough like 300 pounds, I would travel the 60 miles ot watertown to get one or two

It is exactly 300 pounds . *** It also has a harness that fits around each leg plus your upper body ***. It's a heck of a deal for fifty bucks ! I don't use the straps that come with the stands as I prefer to use Ratchet Straps . They may not be necessary but they make me feel more secure ............

You don't look like your close to 300 lbs. in the photo Bubba. How much equipment are you carrying?

Before I started dieting I was 290. Now down to 245 and still losing. I dont carry much but like to be under the weight by a bit. I used a 2 person stand for the longest time just to feel comfortable.

Single person stands can get a little tight for everyone with heavier clothing and equipment. I hover just below two bills and still feel cramped in my stands during colder weather. Nice work dropping the weight.
