I'm seriously thinking of giving it a try for archery season, come next November!! Planning on going the outfitter route, so I have a great place to hunt, sleep, and eat!! Anyone know of any "Good" ones in Ohio?

Paul, I have been to Ohio recently and have seen some nice deer there. They were between the PA line and just before you get to Cleveland.
The other side of the state is nice as well from Toledo to the Indiana state line. To be honest though Indiana I saw many more deer.
for what is is worth, Michigan has a ton of deer as well. As for a outfitter have no idea just wanted to let you know of my deer signtings. I can say this Michigan has a ton more deer than NY.

A guy I work with just left friday for a 4 week hunt to Illinois,Iowa, and Missouri all on state land and he's doing it all for about $1500 + gas prices. Iowa is a lottery but holds some monsters. When he gets back I can get some info. for you for next year.

Thanks for the reply's guys. The reason for Ohio, it close, and they have some real bruisers in that state!! I know it's going to cost me some bucks for this trip, but the fact that I'll have some great odds of taking a real dandy are there, VS here in NY!! Tired of putting countless hours in a treestand only to see some small racked dink bucks and fawns!!
