Got my first chance to head out today and kick some brush. Man it was warm, upper 40's here. First pile I kicked out jumps a bunny and takes off the other side of the pile. Was fun until the wind picked up to a breezy 35 to 40 mph. Then the driving rain in my face felt like little pins and needles. I love the outdoors. Jumped 2 more but no shots presented themselves so I got out of the wind and rain. Hope to get out again next week maybe.

yeah long as you aint breakin the rules the dec guys are pretty cool.they all know me in my area so they just wave.sometimes they stop to ask me questions bout other hunters etc.they tip me off to some nice spots

Glad some of you guy's are getting out. I am still sick and havent worked for a few days. I think I have fibnally got rid of the bug. Dont know if I will hunt the little buggers this weekend with no snow. Might bbe crowded this weekend cause the weather has driven all th ice fishermen off the ice and into the woods.
Maybe I will try some squirrels this weekend.
