went for the first time yesterday checked the ice in the middle of the week & only a skim coat checked it Sunday 6"- 9" only got about 5 chain Pickerel (Grass missiles) But Glad to finally get out

Finally safe around here now too. Got a limit of nice 'gills Saturday 1/27 then these Sunday afternoon......was great to be back out on the water!

Eddie- Don't worry. They were given a nice crispy coat & brought up to 400 degrees in a peanut oil hot-tub!

-15 windchill & got about 6-8 inches of snow driven by 20 MPH winds in the short time I was out tonight. BUT the bite was ON! Nobody else out there ;D

Brave souls...I never thought of going out on to a frozen body of water as something that I wanted to do...With my luck, I would find that lone thin spot in the ice and fall right on through.

Saturday evenings catch- Sunday evenings catch- I love using my Vexilar. I've learned more in the first year I used it than in 30 without one. Hows the NH bite been?
