When are we going? We just got back! It was just an AWESOME trip. Here's a few pics... My son fighting our only fish of the day (others in our party did better on their boats including a triple with all fish landed!) My sons fish was about 150 lbs...but my batteries died just when it started leaping like the one in Woolys post. It went deep as soon as I had fresh batteries in. Of course. Our smiles immediately after he landed & released it say it all- My son with the photo op at a neat restaurant/bar called the "Giggling Marlin" Only restaurant I've ever been in with chickens walking around eating scraps off the floor. The girl in the photo just hopped in the shot. My son didn't seem to mind her being there. The sea lions near the famous "Arch" and "Lover's Beach" (You can't begin to imagine the STINK of these things!) Background shows the "Arch". We snorkled all around this area. The Angelfish, Parrot fish, Puffers, Needlefish were just everywhere. The view from our room- "Rhino" tour along the Pacific & thru the desert- Four wheelin' along the Pacific & thru the desert and a visit to a remote village called Candelaria- The pics don't really do justice to the beauty of the place our just how good a time we had. It was GREAT!!!

It was great. Only a couple years ago I could never in a million years have imagined being able to go on a trip like this. Most weeks I was sweating out being able to swing groceries for the week. Never know what God has coming next, but we plan to be content in whatever the circumstances. It's beautiful around here now & walleye is open! From the sound of their summer's down there, they would love to be here by next month.
