Here are a couple pics of my grandfather, Ray Edwards, that were given to me by his wife, Loretta. (Second wife, gramps was remarried after grandma died)
The first one is my grandfather(on the left) and another US soldier right after WWII in Italy with their fishing poles. The photo was taken some time in 1945 after VE day.
Another pic of grandpa in his uniform...He spent much of the war in North Africa and then travelled up from Southern Italy where he spent the rest of the war.
