I just had some selective timbering done on my 65 acres. After the logging roads were dozed and cleaned off, my forester recommened planting red fescue on the roads to help prevent erosion, as I'm on a hill side. I recall reading an article a while back, that deer do not eat fescue, does anyone know of something I can plant thats shade tolerant, will help with erosion, and deer like to eat? I have some other food plots, so these aren't primary, but If i have to seed them, I'd like them to be productive too.
