Guys, Bush's just put out a new line of Grillen beans. I made some venison burgers Sunday and poured over them the Bourbon and Brown sugar beans-it was excellent! Probably cardboard would taste good with this stuff poured on it but man was it good! Enjoy!

Blazing saddles is a classic....I laugh when I picture them around the campfire.
This is the recepe I use for jerky but been too lazy over the past few years. Sometimes I leave out the liquid smoke and do it in the smoker. I like it better that way. I also like it hot so i add some crushed red pepper.
This recipe is for the serious jerky eater. The best jerky you'll ever eat too!!
15lbs deer meat (sliced thin) 1 10 oz. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 bottle Soy sauce 2 tbsp Accent 1 tsp Garlic & Onion powder 1/3 cup Tender Quick 2 Tbsp. Black Pepper 1/4 cup Liquid Smoke
Mix up and leave in frig. for 2 days, mix up a couple times each day.Dry and enjoy!! I always double all my ingredients to make sure the meat has plenty to marinate in.If you want you can cut recipe in half only use 7 1/2 lbs meat, but don't double ingredients above. I use a dehydrator to dry my jerky and when I place meat in racks to dry I sprinkle with black pepper. The hotter you like it the more pepper you put on. When preparing deer meat any cut will do and try to keep thickness the same 1/16 to 1/8" thick.Clean meat of tallow, membranes, etc.Pure red meat or you'll get some chewy jerky later.
Some of the jerky cures you can buy are also quite good. I think there was a recipe section on this site awhile back but I dont see it now.
You got me going now so I think i will be firing up the smoker this weekend.
Good luck

My favorite way to cook steaks is 1 bottle of BBQ sauce 1/2 bottle roasted garlic Italian dressing,a big dash of garlic powder (to your taste) mix let the steaks sit in it over night and cook slow on the grill splashing them as they cook with the left over sauce thats the easiest one I know.
