Just a bit excited!

I can't believe it's just about a week away! I am even looking at the long range forecast
Highs low 50's lows low 30's PERFECT!!!!! I can remember years it being in the 70's.
We are checking the trail this weekend, hope to see some big guys. We set the camera up
looking over a patch of secret spot. The stuff really shot up in the third week. Our corn is still standing and looking green so I will be hunting one of the heavy trails leading to it. Farmer also told me he is going to pick it and not chop that leaves a lot of extras for the deer.
I have a question: What do you guys like to use as a cover or attractor scent the first two weeks of bow??

I plan on eating a bunch of Bush's grillen beans and let nature takes it's course!!!

I dont use any cover scent at all. I tried various things years ago and never really developed any confidence in it. I may make some mock scrapes and put some territorial scent in it and in a few weeks may use some estrous scent on a drag line.

For now my only plan is the beans ....hope they work..

Sounds good Burt and good luck. I use Scent Away as a cover scent. I was my clothes in the soap and I am going to try the shampoo and body wash this year. I'm serious about getting the big guy so I want to try and take any precaution to see if it works. Nothing is 100% I guess but it's worth a try. I read on another website that a guy collects some local creek or stream water and adds a little doe in heat or buck urine to it and sprays himself with that. Just a thought.

I'll steer clear of the beans for sure, LOL!

After taking a shower in scent free soap , rub Corn Oil all over your body . that should draw them in .........
