Can't wait, heading to the Northern Zone in the morning to try to take a early season deer. Am so pumped for this season.

Very funny! I don't hunt that way much anymore but I am headed for Saratoga today and didn't realize smokepole was open. The gun is at camp in the Finger lakes:(

We didn't see any deer! We heard about 10 shots this morning.  I was wearing a wool vest under my jacket, that's why I look so bulky. I'm not sure what Jon's excuse was..... And if I hear any jokes about my bald head looking as ugly as Anakin Skywalker at the end of Return of The Jedi, I'm not talking to any of you for the rest of the day!  |

A happy marraige they say makes you put on weight. I am very happy in my marriage with my great new wife but truth be told I have have recently one to many 1/2 gallons of ice cream. Hoping to walk a little off this hunting season. ;D
The hunt was great. The day was perfect. We did hear many close shots, I am convinced Handcannon and I pushed a deer right to a person as we got set up.
