  Was in rushford this past weekend. Saw two way far off. IN the afternoon i decided to try my luck and this is what i got...No deer , but i think my bow is tuned right. This sucker was about 15-20 yds on the ground. My cousin stuck a doe, but after 2 hrs of searching there was no more blood and started to rain...Went back the next day and found nothing... |

I'd say you got some penetration on that treerat!!! Firing squad style too, back of the head and right out between the eyes. He never saw it coming. Priceless!! I have a few spare arrows so I may have to use one next time I am on stand. My BIL will make potpie out of it.
Sorry for you and your cousin. I have been there twice with 2 nice bucks. Not a good feeling. As long as you tried your best there is no shame in that.
