Well I made it out Thursday in the rain for a morning hunt haven't been able to hunt to much . It was crazy saw 20 deer 6 different bucks.I was trying to get them to stop but they had their minds on the does. I whistled grunted and even tried yelling but they just kept on the does tail. Then finally at 8:10 a 5 pt came straight to my tree.my shot placement was 3inches to the left of his spine and came out right behind his shoulder perfect or so I thought. He bleed VERY heavy but it started to pour.I waited 20 min and started to track.(bad idea) I jumped him and lost the blood but it was raining so hard I was worried about loosing it anyways.I followed his tracks in the mud till I got to an area that was to over grown to see tracks anymore.I sat down smoked a cig and call in reinforcements. My uncle came out and we started again.3 hours later we are about to call it when I hear Chuck I got blood.Followed by HOLY S%@* I'm getting to old for this s%@* notch an arrow here he comes.(my uncle almost stepped on him) He walked to about 20 yards and I shot him broadside. He ran 40 yards and dropped. When I gutted him I found that my first shot went right between his lungs and nicked his liver missed everything else to much of a straight down shot. But anyway I got him ;D ;D PICTURES TO COME i hope

Good deer, i shot one in the liver one year found him 7 hrs later only by looking to the skies for help-CROWS! They were pecking at the entrance wound making a racket! I followed the noise and it lead me straight to my buck! Liver is a tough shot, deep red blood and you should leave them lay for at least 4 hrs-Great deer!
