i want to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving .i was wondering how many of you sneak out to do some hunting on thanksgiving day.i have spent it away at camp and also done some hunting other times this year it looks like ill be home :(what about everyone else?

Same to you joel. I have never been able to get away to hunt on Thanksgiving. My Brother-inlaw used to tell me it was like opening day some years, alot of hunters in the woods. Enjoy the holiday, I am at camp Friday-Sunday night. NEED MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah usually home on thanksgiving never got the chance to go out hunting. always spend the day with the family. happy thankgiving everyone, enjoy

I do not remember a Thanksgiving that we did not hunt! I come from a hunting family and my wifes family is as well. So it is actually tradition to hunt Thanksgiving Day. It will be my brother, brother in law and uncle and myself. We will hunt till noon then come in and have a big feed at my wifes families house. Then we go out for last watch. Then I go to my moms house and eat a whole nother Thanksgiving dinner. Wooha!!!!

We used to hunt Thanksgiving but it seems to get busier every year so had to skip it this year  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families. |

We had 8'' of new snow fall thanksgiving day. Made it tough to see anything cause the branches were haning low. Didn't see anything.
