Well that's all folks, finally saw a buck today. Saw two of them actually, One did not make it out of the woods alive. Finally saw horns.
This deer is huge. He is a monster. I have not weighed him yet but he has to go around 200 lbs. That there is good eating that was provided by Lord God.
I have been very blessed this year. A product I think of what the Bible promises....you reap what you sow. Spw good seeds, reap good rewards, Sow bad seads and God does see it and catches up with it eventually. We have been faithful to God and he in retunr as he has promised has been faithful to us. God has provided my family with a vast amount of deer meat this year. He has provided me with a excellent season with a bunch of enjoyment. The Christian life is a great life and would urge anyone to consider loving God for he loved us so much he gave his life on the cross for us. He died for us yet becuase he loves us so much continues to give back. Thank God for all he is and thank God for such a blessing of a season.
I'm looking forward to seeing my wife get a deer now. I hope she connects. Thanksgiving is usually a great day to try to make that happen.
I saw some kids today get very very excited at seeing that deer. I also saw kids today get to shoot at deer and you would have thought that , that was better than sliced bread to them, even though they missed.
The story, These bucks came out on a drive and I shot the one on the run at 125 yards through a pine tree thicket. I really do love the Remington 870 20 gauge. I am most likely a convert on a regular basis from the 12 to the 20. That gun is so sweet to shoot. I never even pulled out my Remington 1100 this year.
During this season I shot a deer with my Remington 870 12 gauge, Remington 870 20 Gauge and with the S&W .44. What more can you ask for. God has been Good!
I hope now to see my wife lay down a deer and some kids get some deer. For me the walking with be alot easier with no gun in hand. I'm taking the camera now. I still have a bunch of time off so we will be out a bunch still. I just now that some of these kids are going to see deer on drives. My wife is a still hunter (she's pregnant) so if anything comes her way I am gonna record it on film.
Have a great Thanksgiving guys.
