My neighbor called me this morning to tell me he bagged a big 10pt just like the one my brother shot last weekend. Guys- 2 big 10 points a big 8 point were taken on or right by my property this year and that doesn't count the huge one I saw at bow season, nobody got him yet. It has been a great year for big deer. Back to the rut- so he called me to say he was in his stand about 7:30 this morning and a few doe came by and trailing them with his nose to the ground grunting was this big 10 pt. Maybe one of those does was coming in again. Timing would be good for last weekend, I can't hunt but will be back last weekend at musket season.
