Hey guys been checking out your site for a while and finally decided to join. My name is Matt and I hail from the Great Alabama Swamps in WNY. I tend to spend most of my time hunting down in Ellicotville, NY on private land. I'm not a huge fan of how crowded the swamps get... I shoot a Diamond Rock, CVA .50 Kodiak, Remington 870 magnum, and Savage .300 win mag. Most of my focus is on Whitetail but I do dabble here or there for Coyote(esp. after I find tracks every year chasing my deer) crows and pigeons are a personal favorite, woodchuck and anything else thats in season. I really like what you guys have done with the forum and hope to contribute. Thanks.

Yeah i'm hoping for tomorrow.. I've been watching a big boy for 2 years now but he's big for a reason... In Eville i'm right near where 240 and Beaver Meadows meet. As my father called it when i brought him down on Friday for his first hunt ever "this is picture perfect, thank you". Good luck all!!! thanks for the welcoming.

Welcome to the site Alabamaslammer...From the name, I thought you were from down South...I never thought of the Alabama Swamps area...I used to go there to site in my guns. Talk about crazy...The first time I went there, there were people just trolling the road looking for a berm to use. I guess I must have gone at the wrong time. The next few times it wasn't so busy...
Welcome to the site and post away...Sorry I am late on the welcome.

yeah i actually grew up right in alabama center which is near the flashing red light. I go to the range there a few times a month to shoot. It usually gets busy right before season as usual and your lucky they were looking for a berm... usually they just throw tv's, computers or old refridgerators out and shoot at them... since I am from there I can truly say they are rednecks...
