Yea. Didn't end up catching anything. Saw a real nice 8 pt on a full out run. My uncle missed a nice doe that ran 100 yds from me on full sprint. The season ended on a good note though. Atleast i saw some. In the end the only deer i harvested was the 7 point during archery. Now i have to find something to do with my free time. I think i might take up some shed hunting in a month or so. At least it will keep me moving and it will be some good exercise.

And that is only one of the parcels...The attached state land encompasses over 4000 acres...Lots of opportunity there. The place I used to hunt was an old church retreat that was about 280 acres...It was bordered on two sides by state land...Pretty good hunting.

kp I live in Amherst now and work over by the Chapel... I wish the town would open up a week of nuisance control over here I watch the deer every night in the fall like clockwork... I get out at 7 when the sun is still going down and watch 30 or so doe pour into a field across from the Geico building
