I know we have discussed this before on here and I was reading on another site about an "accident" that occured using carbon arrows. I will post the link but want to warn you that the pictures are graphic. I use aluminum but for you fellas that use carbon, please make sure to check your arrows prior to shooting or going afield. www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=836247

Yes i agree eddie. I think carbons and their rigid construction sway me towards them. I have put one through a plywood sheet and inspected it with no cracks and it was straight " as an arrow". If you did that with an aluminum it would bend up

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against carbon, I've just always shot aluminum. I did put a few carbons of my buddies through my bow but thats about it while target shooting. I may switch someday but after seeing those pics, I will inspect them for sure.

I love my carbon arrows...I tried using the ones that are set up for my newer bow on my older Browning wheel bow...Man, that bow was loud...I had to go back to the aluminums for the old bow...The carbons are just too light for it.
