Anyone out there hunting coyotes? well work slowed down so im just getting started with my yote hunting. not very much luck yet. I heard a few but they would not come in? the other nite I started out with a howl, and we had one howl back. Then a few others anwsered with it. so we walked in there direction and sat for about a hour calling of and on. I had my decoy in the snow and the call near it. We had a pair of Stealth Bomber owls come in and thats it. Well no sign of coyotes so we got up and i gave another howl. Well about 10 seconds later the yotes answered in the same spot? must be my distress call did not sound very appittizing? I geuss next time i will use my A1 kitty call or my Heinz 57 Bunnie calls! Well hows everyone else making out?

Haven't been out. Went out last year. Its a blast, but its a tough hunt. They are a really smart animal. They circled us before coming in and scented us right away.

I haven;t cut a coyote track in near 2 months now. They used to sing me to sleep every night from just beyond the backyard. Not many bunny tracks around anymore either. They're gonna be hungry come fawning season.
