well the season for these great game fish is approaching fast just a few more days .Im hoping to spend more time this year cashing them as they swim up the hudson to spawn.Im going to start out at croton on the hudson and work my way up to newburg and the esopus creek.Then if im still here in NY do some surf casting off the beaches anybody else chase these fighting game fish?

I used to surf cast on long island when my brother lived there. We could catch the stripers on the beach and end up selling it to the resturaunt in the bay there. That was a blast when you could find em.
