Does this convey my point? I've been jerked around for a month now and trying to keep a level head about it. Easier said than done with me. Thinking of running this in the Buffalo News classifieds to get them some advertising space on my dime! Labor board says it can take up to 2 months to recover what is owed- we'll see about that! WANTED:My last 2 paychecks from Waterworks Plumbing & Backflow inc. NO MORE GAMES. If this is how you treat your employees- CUSTOMERS BEWARE! 6 days= $760 owed

Wooly, Go online and google Demand Notes. I have done this several times for cable money from ex roommate, two security deposits and a refund from a mechanic. The letter is forward and states the facts, states what you would like done to resolve the situation, then the consequences of that not being done legally. Make sure not to extort of seem too demanding but get your point across. Send this certified and make sure that a signature is needed for the post office. This way if you do take this to court, you have a certified letter with the defendants signature showing they have received your request and failed to come through.

I'll check that out, thanx slammer. He said he was holding them for some saws I had of his so I had the local town cops escort me to the shop to return them.(so I didn't do anything stupid) He told them that he didn't care about the saws anymore and for me to keep them. Said he mailed my checks last Tuesday. He told me he mailed them back on the 6th when he let me go. Was also supposed to drop them off to me yesterday. He claims to have payed my due child support but I don't believe a word he says anymore.
I'm FUMING boys!

Ok enough messing around... find a friend/ family member who is an attorney and have them draft up a demand note for you lol... that will put some heat on him otherwise another tactic I used was find the interest rate on a personal loan which can max out at 15% I believe and tell him you will be applying that charge to the money owed until it has been paid in full, tell him how morally wrong this is and that you thought he was an honest hard working man with values.. maybe even do that verbally so there is no written record that you called out his manhood

I got under his skin today and the post office confirmed checks on the way! Gave him a little one liner about playing around in the snake pit and getting bit. He bout lost his fool mind! Dang quiet country boys scare the jeepers outta them bussiness men when we do open our filthy pie holes. Also filed some town code violation forms that will affect his walgreens contract and blew the whistle on the fudging of hrs for his apprentice joureyman qualification requirements in Amherst..
A good day it was! ;D
