Well the trout can wait, starting to get some green buds on the bushes. Had a hard time spotting these guys as it was and time is running out. Found the first little 3pt and looked around for the match. 5 feet away from that one was another busted up 3pt (not the match). I'll take it! And another 5 feet away from that one was a little spiker. I was spinning in circles out there today. Starting to show some chew marks on all of them too.

Back down in Holland off 16. These were all in a patch about 50yds off the cornfield(still standing ) where I had walked through nearly every hike to get to higher ground. I observed the herd of 50+ bedding here for some time late winter when the snow was piled up. Pretty confidant I covered this area thouroughly enough and any other drops are in the corn outta site forever. I think I was looking "too big" on previous trips through the area and hiked right past these ground huggers every time. Gonna try to make it back up to Wales today or tomorrow and check out a few spots I haven't made it to yet.. Good luck if you get out again!

I think I may have restless leg syndrome! I gotta order me some of them info-mercial pills, LOL! You know you got it bad when you pop out the woods one town over! This was a good 10 mile round trip hike a few days after my 3 stick find. Forgot I had taken it. Slept good that night... Here's some more good sign I found in my journeys Made it back to South Wales yesterday but turned up nothing. Still got a few trips left in me before I call it quits. Dang snow is relentless..... got another 6 inches the other night on the hills, less in the valley. Put a real damper on my mood, but I keep on hiking! That was all fine and dandy but it only gave me an additional 10 acres to roam hard with big expectations that turned up nadda.

I do indeed! Not to push any other sites down your throats, but there's alot to be seen and heard here for the novice or the die hard antler addict. He don't advertise much but it's a good site. shed94.proboards.com/index.cgi?

I made it out to Lancaster yesterday. Found over 100 acres to get lost in on wifeys grandpappys land. I know they're in there but it's so thick it's sick. You litteraly can't see past 5 feet in that crud anyway you turn but the trails are run heavy. Oh, my hopes were high, but I spent more time pulling pricker bushes from my face than I did managing to keep my eyes open.
