Well guys I gave in and forked over the cash for a new Diamond Bow. Bowtech "the rock" is what I bought. Nice bow very fast and compact. I bought it over at Arnot forest archery, Hugh and Jerry are the owners, they are wonderful people. We didn't go with the package but customized the bow with some nice extras. If your ever in the Van Etten area stop by and see them. Burt

Bowtech makes an extremly fast and quiet bow. I shot the 82nd airborne and was amazed. You should have fun with that burt. Hey did you ever get your well dug and how much?

kpkot, Love the bow just like you said fast and quiet. The septic is being done right now, basic system 3,500. I talked to two well drillers, looks like it is going to be for a 135' well, complete package, 4,500. Just deciding right now if I want them to pound or drill? Thanks for asking!

Kpkot, The septic on its own is $ 3,500. 1000 gal tank with a leach field. the price of the well $4,500 includes everything, 220 line from breaker bow to the pump. i am still deciding who to use, my neighbor insists I have the well pounded and not drilled. i may follow his advice. I will keep you updated.

What would be the benefits between pounding and drilling?

I was told that a driller may cut off some water veins and go much deeper than needed. They go so fast that it seals up the water vein. A pounder fractures more rock thus creating more area for the water to get out.

Sorry for the late response, no I didn't see any price change between the two. The guys who did mine Dansville water works were great. 28/ft w casing 23/ft w/o casing.
