Thanks My uncle lives in Prattsburg went out there a couple years ago & hunted Naples area Hi-Tor we are heading that way this year & looking for a back-up area to hunt we go out the day after thanksgiving Erwin looks half the size as Hi-Tor so I wasn't sure if it is crowded or not Hi-Tor was crowded the first day but we go the second week of the season so it was very quiet the rest of the time we were there

25 years ago, Erwin was my main hunting spot as I know people that live adjacent to it and I had permission on a farm that also backed up to it. The hunting was great back then and according to the people I still keep in contact with, there are still deer all over the place . There are alot more bear in the area now also.
They tell me that the first day is really crowded but pressure is non existant after that. When I hunted there it was like everywhere else, there was pressure all season. Very nice area and I have considered going back for bear but I dont like to drive that far for deer anymore.

Good to hear from you. You helped me out abunch a few years ago w/ Hi-Tor area. We had a blast & wanted to go back but were so busy we never got the chance till this year. We are heading back to Hi Tor staying in Bath & found Erwin & thought we would check it out & we probably will
Thanks for all your help bagged two that year only two we saw all week I spent most of my time sitting in a stream cause it was 70 - 80 degrees that week. Hope it is a tad colder this year
