I had one Friday morning cross the road behind mom. It kept going back and forth as the nervous mom stood and waited. I stopped the bike and it finally wobbled the rest of the way.

Hey guys, Been a while, just putting the finishing touches on my cabin. Had the septic and well put in, all the comforts of home! Talking about fawns, I saw 3 this weekend and the 4th was dead on the road by Deposit. I drove up on 17 early Saturday morning and couldn't believe the amount of dead deer and live ones by the edge of the highway! Saw 6 different bucks in velvet really cool. We now have a huge bear hanging around the property. It was put there by DEC and has a collar. Can you shoot one wearing a tracking collar??? Burt

Thats my neck of the woods Ed and yes there are alot dead on the road down here. I drive home past a state owned gravel dump off of rt17/I86 on the broome/tioga county line and they are dumping the carcasses over there by the river.
