Leftover DMPs

Have any of you gotten any of the leftover DMPs ? I stopped at
D!ck's in Henrietta and got 2 (8H & 8F) ........

Was there any left for 8N??

I aint seeing any deer anyway so they could give me 100 tags and it wouldnt make any difference. Very discouraging year...I think they have killed way too many doe's. Things started going down hill several years ago and now my spot is a barren wasteland as far as deer are concerned.

I got them at D!cks yesterday (Wednesday) . I don't recall what areas are left . I asked for 8H & 8F and got both . Two of my sons stopped at WalMart in Canandaigua late Monday and picked up a couple of permits each .
Yeah , I know what you mean . I would see all sorts of deer before season and then they go into stealth mode . It was toooooo crappy to go out today . I will give Walworth a try tomorrow and might head for Groveland Saturday . The spot I usually hunt in Geneseo has been screwed up . The farmer plowed the field and now it's a rarity for the deer to travel across it or feed at the North end like they had in the past .

Thanks Fastone, I stopped at Jay-ve at lunch today and got 2 for 8N. They still have permits left for most areas that were open for leftover permits....Dont tell my wife but I had her go to Geneseo Walmart on Sunday to get a couple. She went at 6:00am and stood in line for 2.5 hours to get 2 permits. It did cost me cause she was picking up mechandise as the line moved along. At least she was in the sporting goods area so she bought some good stuff.

Now I have a whole stack of permits and will be lucky to fill one of them. I am getting tired of sitting in the stand for 8 hours and seeing one deer or worse yet no-deer!!!!

It only takes a second to change your whole season so that thought kinda keeps me going..
