This is Nick's 3rd year of bow hunting and he cashed in this morning . Nick shot an 8 point with a 190 grain Grizzly single bevel broadhead and a Alaskan shaft . He also had at least 110 gr of added wt to the broadhead making the arrow over 700 grains . He hit it high from about 10 yards and it just dropped , quivered and died .
I tried to pull the arrow out and ended up with just the shaft . The broadhead and weight were still in the Buck . When my sons were cutting up the deer , the broadhead was stuck in the spine .
