kp you want to see some deer... i work at citi on crosspoint in getzville. stop by the field across from Geico any evening preseason and there are b/w 10-20 doe feeding. Once in a while I will stop and take pictures and throw a bleat out to see if I get a reaction. I think the towns should open up a weeklong overnight archery season in select areas by lottery to solve the problem. My gf lives in french landing and has hit 2 in the past 3 weeks.

Amherst Police does a program. They take out quite a few every year. I agree with you though archery shouldn't hurt much

I have confirmed today there is at least one deer in the cemetary. I was driving down main right across from canisus today and boom one bedded about 10 feet from the sidewalk under a tree behind the security of the iron fence. People were literally walking 10 feet from it and didn't even see it. I did take a photo of it once I get around to it i will post. Its unbelivable though right in the east side of buffalo that deer makes it home.

As promised...Here are the pics. I believe it is the same buck. If you zoom in you can tell its a shedded buck. COOL STUFF! The best part was I drove down main today and the deer was in the same exact spot browsing on the tree it was bedded under. What are the chances? Deer in the east side...

Hmmm......I gotta have a dead relative or a friend of a friend in there somewhere I should probably pay a visit to soon. Thanks for the pic- that is pretty wild to see how adaptable they can be with so few "creature comforts" around.
