My brothers deer. 7 Pointer. I passed on a 4 point opening day and also a button on sunday. My dad shot a doe with his pistol. Also this same brother shot a button. It was far off and he thought it was a doe. We are trying to do some managment on our property so we try not to shoot the young ones. We do a system where if you shoot a buck below the requirements its $25. If you wound a deer and don't recover it: $35. All the money goes into a fund to do food plots and plant trees.

Shot a doe Sunday at my camp in Delaware cty. We also took another doe and a spike. Hopefully this weekend will produce more.
Most of the updates on success are in the journal sections just so you know.

took in madison county sat around 7-8. We think that are no shooting property owners next to us hit him in the gut first. He came in head down walking kind of slow, tried grunting but didnt respond. I let him have it though some high weed and hit him in the neck about 2inch from his neck bone. I seen him jump so i knew i hit him. 30 min later we went to retrieve him and he jumped and ran off We found some blood and i chased him for about 45 and 150yrds before he bleed out and finally died. Shot was about 40 yrds 10ft treestand mossberg 500. Best part is i was grunting and two clowns that where driving where waiting for me to come out. Right after they left he came in. Had 6 points but it was a crazy deer. On was a spike with a kicker, looked like one was broke off at the base and then one side had like a normal rack. Lots of scrapes and trails around deer grown fast out there. Attachments:
