11/4 AM behind the house.
In the stand for 4 hours this morning and not one deer. It was cold!! Had my brother in law down from me about 300 yards where I saw one a couple nights ago. He had a small buck in front of him just out of range, wind perfect. The buck just up and took off. Then a buck bigger than the one I took, I knew there was a bigger one in there that gave mine the cut, came in all bristled up. Never got in range and left with what he thinks was a doe. We will be back after them in a bit!

11/4 PM behind the house
Missed a chip shot on a cream colored coyote put the wrong stupid pin on it! RRRRRRRR. Also saw one good size deer to far out. My brother in law saw the same good buck again, no shot again, he says 8 or 10 pointer. He moved his stand like 30 yards after dark tonight! I told him for sure the buck would come out in the other spot in the morning.

11/5 AM
Behind house again. Had a doe and fawn come in at 7:40 and put a shot on the doe. She jumped the string and hunkered down and back a bit before the arrow hit her. I think I hit her high in the neck. She snow plowed for 40 yards then crashed down into a blowdown. I thought she was done. Then up she went up the ridge. I waited 45 minutes and got on it. I had a very good bright blood trail, it went about 100 yards and I heard her jump. I went up to where she was bedded and never saw so much blood. 2 beds 3 foot circles of blood. We came out and gave her a couple hours and went back in. Followed the trail for over 4 more hours. Through woods and fields and she never bedded again we had to track her 3/4 of a mile or more and finally lost the trail. Very disapointed.
My brother in law saw 5 no shots. I am out of town for a week so I am not hunting. I need a break after that, I can not stand losing a deer. Hopefully she will make it.

11/11 am Back at it. Behind the inlaws. Had a 1.5 yr old under me. A 5 point with abot 12 inch spread. Watched him for about a half hour at times he was 20 feet from my tree. He was still bedded 150 yards or so from me when I left. My brother moved his stand closer to where he was seeing the buck come out and of course Tuesday he came out under the tree he WAS in!! lol That is turning into a chess match. It is keeping me entertained!! Weather is looking like sheeeet for the next 10 days or so. Lots of rain and to warm. We may not see snow till December!

Had another go by in front of me at about 25 yards at 8:20, another 1.5 year old might of been that 5 pointer but not sure. Brother missed a nice buck, took a few hairs off his brisket. That is two now!! There will be a club of em runnin around here with hair off em.
PM nadda! Did shoot the Ithica today and she is dead on. Days left of bow are dwindling fast!!

11/17 PM
Last day of bow. Went down to Tully to put in a stand for the morning. After that I had a spot I wanted to look at. Went in and was on the ground against a tree watching a small clearing. Within 15 minutes I saw 1 doe 2 fawns and a 6 point. The only shot op was the 6 at 25 yards and I was doe hunting.
Good luck tomorrow all!!
